Animal Carer (0 hour contract)

Are you passionate about animals and have a love for dogs?

We are looking for an enthusiastic hardworking member to join our team here at Crossroads Resort! The ideal candidate would be working in either our Kennels or Daycare centre meaning they are able to pitch in with either team to ensure everything runs smoothly and safely. They would also need to be comfortable working with all different breeds of dogs, happy to work outdoors all year round and in all weathers.

Kennel duties would include cleaning out and making up accommodation, preparing feeds, general cleaning, walking dogs whilst caring for and ensuring their wellbeing.

Daycare duties would be much the same; this would include daily cleaning to ensure all daycare zones remain well-kept and presented, playing with the dogs entrusted to us, ensuring they are exercised, stimulated, healthy and happy.

The position is currently for a 0-hour contract however there is the potential for this to develop into a full-time position.

Please be aware that you would need to be fully flexible as you may be asked to work at weekends as well as during the week. You would also need to be available to work during the summer/school holidays and over the Christmas period. The Kennel hours would be approximately 8am - 5:15pm and the Daycare hours would be 7:30am to 5:30pm, but this could change slightly depending on busy periods.
