Full Job Description

  • Assisting with the delivery of all administrative tasks using practice guidance notes and templates

  • Audio and copy typing, Power Point presentations and spread sheet data entry

  • Proactively managing project related phone, email and post traffic.

  • Liaising with client, contract and partner companies establishing effective communication and delivering timely and accurate information

  • Ensuring file and database information is kept accurate and up to date, adhering to all AFI procedures

  • Assisting in the preparation of documentation relating to tender submissions/ pre-qualification questionnaires, general marketing material and contract documentation

  • Providing support and assistance to Project Team Support and Project Team Administrators

    We have an excellent opportunity for a Project Team Support Administrator apprentice to work within our Eltham based Building Surveying group. This placement will provide the opportunity to earn a salary and obtain a Level 3 NVQ Business Administration qualification, whilst gaining valuable skills and experience supporting our busy technical project team. This role has the potential for hybrid working (working from home and the office).


  • We're looking for an organised, friendly and enthusiastic administrator who is motivated and keen to learn, with great skills in all areas of Microsoft Office and good typing speeds.

    You'll be the central hub of our project activity and need to communicate effectively at all levels, and in return you will be working for one of the most progressive construction consultancies around with a great place to work, full training, plenty of responsibility and a supportive environment to help you be as good as you can be., Basic level Microsoft Word.

    Basic level Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

    Microsoft Teams and Adobe InDesign (not essential)

    Desire to grow in a proactive office administration role.

    Good English, grammar, punctuation and spelling

    Organisational skills

    Communication skills

    English and Maths GCSE (5/C-grade and above)
