Full Job Description

  • Assisting the estimator with initial subcontract enquiries

  • Measurement from drawings and completed works on site

  • Analysis of subcontractor quotes

  • Procurement and placing orders with subcontractors & suppliers

  • Assisting in the valuation of variations

  • Assisting in project valuations and final accounts

    The successful apprentice will study Level 6 Chartered Surveyor Degree Apprenticeship (Quantity Surveying) studying towards a BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management delivered by Nottingham Trent Univeristy, studying at NTU one day per week., There are good career prospects for the right candidate. Hard work and dedication will be rewarded., Communication skills, IT skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Customer care skills, Problem solving skills, Presentation skills, Administrative skills, Number skills, Analytical skills, Logical, Team working, Initiative, Non judgemental, GCSE or equivalent Maths and English (Grade 4/C) Essential

  • A Level or equivalent Various (Grade BBB (120 UCAS points)) Essential
    BTEC or equivalent Various (Grade DDM (120 UCAS points)) Essential, Chartered surveyor (degree)

    Level 6 (Degree with honours)
