Full Job Description

  • Perform automotive body repairs and refinishing according to industry standards and manufacturer specifications.

  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify damages and determine the appropriate repair methods.

  • Repair and replace damaged body panels, components, and structural elements.

  • Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, and applying primer.

  • Apply paint and finish coatings using spray guns and other refinishing equipment.

  • Polish and buff painted surfaces to achieve a smooth and glossy finish.

  • Utilise various tools and equipment safely and efficiently to complete tasks.

  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment.

We welcome applicants with any workshop experience, whether you specialise in metalwork, preparation, panel beating, painting, or polishing., Previous experience working in an automotive repair shop or bodyshop is required.

  • Proficiency in one or more areas of bodywork such as metalwork, prepping, panel beating, painting, or polishing is a plus.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate well with colleagues and supervisors.

  • Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies in the automotive industry.

  • Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual tasks and work in various positions.
