Full Job Description

The Brands and Wholesale Manager role is a unique and exciting opportunity to manage the end-to-end process of a start-up business within a larger organisation. Responsibilities include sourcing of new brands, sales planning and creating content for digital channels.

Are you a merchandiser with a great eye for product, a numerical buyer, or an existing wholesale manager with great partner relationships? We are looking for a Brands & Wholesale Manager to run Monsoon's growing third-party marketplace 'Monsoon Bazaar'. An online curation of beautiful and sustainable products.

What will you do as Brands & Wholesale manager;

Selection & Sourcing Process

Own the process of sourcing new and exciting brands that align with Monsoon values
Responsible for the range selection of each brand and booking all product for the season
Works with buying & design on brand collaborations (designed by brands and developed by Monsoon)

Planning and Trading

Develops the seasonal sales & buy plans based on new brand opportunities and existing brand growth areas
Owns weekly sales reporting and takes actions based on results
Manages the trading calendar for Bazaar, reviewing in relation to Monsoon. Responsible for promo and markdown planning.

Digital & Marketing

Plans all online aspects of Bazaar online from email newsletter content to landing page changes and creating content for the website and social
Generates ideas to create maximum exposure for Bazaar across channels
Participates in seasonal press shows; responsible for range selection works with executive, marketing & visual teams to deliver
A collaborative environment with internal teams. Works closely with Online Trade, CRM and Digital Design team to clearly outline plans, ensure they are executed by digital team, in line with planned timings

Team

Manages Brand and Wholesale Executive to carry out the end-to-end process of onboarding brands, POs, deliveries and online launch.
Works closely across multiple areas and contacts across the business and externals - Supplier, Online Trade, Digital Design, Marketing, Finance, Distribution and Legal

  • Experience in buying, merchandising and/ or wholesale. Experience in omni - channel preferable.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of maintaining strong relationship with a diverse range of stakeholders and external partners

  • Excellent excel skills i

  • Strong team player as well ability to work and make decisions independently

  • Problem solving skills and strong organisational skills

  • Highly motived and hardworking with the desire to work in a start-up environment

  • Knowledge of new brands and the latest trends
