Buildings Cleaner

The Estates and Campus Services Team are looking for a Buildings Cleaner to join their existing team. This is a part-time vacancy working 20 hours per week.

The successful applicant will be required to thoroughly clean offices, teaching rooms, foyers, stairs, toilets, food areas, staff rooms and entrance areas thereby ensuring all University buildings are kept to a high standard of cleanliness. The post holder can be required to work in any zone of the University and in any building.

Applicants require a basic level of literacy and numeracy and the ability to be able to understand instructions. They will need to work as part of a team and have be flexible to cover all areas of the University. The ability to carry out duties which can be physical in nature and can include bending, walking, pushing, lifting, climbing stairs and handling equipment is also required. Full training will be provided.
