Communications Co-ordinator

We are looking for a Communications Coordinator & Business Development Support to tell our story and promote our holidays to our target customers.

Foot Trails delivers simple, authentic walking adventures to a world class standard. Our guests travel from all over the world to hike and experience the countryside of South West England. Our adventures provide a meaningful, rich and restorative experience, they are trips of a lifetime.

As Communications Coordinator & Business Development Support, you will be responsible for originating content to share our story and values, as well as inputting into the direction of Foot Trails.

You will start on the ground, working through all the different aspects that go into our trips, communications and marketing; from experiencing our hikes, to technical 'doing', to learning our voice and writing for Foot Trails. Training will be given but you will need good IT skills in image editing and word processing from the start.

Suitable candidates will be able to show an interest for hiking and exploring England's countryside together with a passion for people and experience. You will be able to demonstrate a strong attention to detail, be competent with IT (we are a cloud based & online business) and have a love of words.

The role will support the businesses sales & financial objectives by communicating and promoting our story, and our holidays. This involves posting on social media, updating and maintaining digital brochures, sending email newsletters, distributing press releases and helping to manage our customer CRM database. You will also assist in business development helping to action and administer parts of the business plan.

£24 + hiking one day a week + stays away at our partner inns.

This is a full time position, Monday to Friday. The role is based in Frome, Somerset. After training we are a flexible employer with flexible hours and occasional home working. Some travel across South West England will be required.
