Construction Apprentice

From day one you will gain real hands on experience on cutting edge projects while being supported and nurtured by your team.
You start your career with an induction designed to give you the chance to learn more about our business and meet other apprentices. Later on you also get the opportunity to be involved in departmental awareness sessions to help bring all stages of the development cycle to life.
Successful candidates will begin their apprenticeship with Berkeley Group on 2nd September 2024 and the majority of assessment centres will take place in June., Apprentices at Berkeley need to show a willingness to learn on the job and enthusiasm to gain a new qualification. You should be comfortable communicating with new people and dealing with different personalities. We work in a fast paced environment so you will need to be able to adapt to change and manage your time well to meet deadlines. You will be well supported and part of a team. Construction
The Construction department manages the build process from receipt of working drawings through to the delivery of homes and commercial property to the end user. There will be a lot of time out of the project office on site in all weathers.
Tasks could include:
· Keeping the Site Manager informed of progress
· Managing contractors on site
· Monitoring Health & Safety
· Organising inductions for new workers
· Completing paperwork
