Full Job Description

In simple terms, your job as our Customer Relations Manager is to be in regular contact with our customers to ensure they are fully satisfied, to identify any who may be in a good position to change their car and to make appointments for them with one of our Sales Consultants.

This is a multi-skilled role and to be successful you must have the following abilities:

· Computer literacy is a must as you will be using numerous programmes to help you identify suitable customers to contact and to report on activities to the management team.

· You must be an articulate "people person" because, although none of the calls are cold calls as such - they are all our customers already, you will be calling them out of the blue and wanting a positive outcome. The ability to remain happy and upbeat is essential, even when having a less successful day.

· You will be politely tenacious. Not every customer will be convinced at first call so using SMS, email and post you will be able to gently convince them it would be worth their time coming in for an appointment.

· You must be very organised to be successful in this role as you will be working on numerous campaigns and on numerous different PC programmes constantly, all of which need updates at every stage so that both management and Toyota themselves can monitor progress.

· To get the most from this role, you must be hard working, responsible and not easily distracted. Success will come from both identifying the correct people to call and from planning and making those calls. In theory, the more people that are contacted, the more chance of appointments being booked. However, 100 poor calls are not as good as 10 high quality calls so it's a case of gauging that balance correctly.

The Successful Applicant Requirements

· Must have previous experience of working within the motor trade or have a strong call centre work history or have fantastic customer service experience.

· Confident and articulate on the telephone.

· Computer literate and able to demonstrate this at interview.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to understand, anticipate and ultimately meet customer needs.

· Possess high energy and enthusiasm with an ability to think outside the box.

Able to work, organise and motivate themselves as well as work within a team, covering 6 dealerships in Bridgend, Swansea, Carmarthen and Haverfordwest, Cardiff and Newport, FRF are the face of Toyota in South West Wales. A basic salary of £20,000 with realistic On Target Earnings of £34,950.00.,
