Full Job Description

PURPOSE OF JOB: To ensure that you professionally represent Kendalls Cars by providing a skilled customer service to our clients through listening to their requirements/needs either on the telephone, online or face-to-face basis in a timely and polite manner.

Principal Duties

· To greet customers in a polite and professional manner.

· To provide a high-quality rental service, to meet customer requirements and to promote the Company's services and products to all potential customers.

· Handle all telephone and face to face enquires in a polite and helpful manner, adhering to the Company's high standards in telephone techniques.

· Perform vehicle handover to customers informing them of all relevant information.

· To run the end of day reports via our bookings sytem and to reconcile the daily takings.

· To deal with all the administrative tasks required of role professionally.

· To help with any other reasonable task/ad hoc duties as requested by your manager

Essential

· Computer Literate

· Must have an excellent understanding of Written and Verbal English

· Strong communication skills, both face to face and over the phone

· Ability to build rapport with customers and to understand their vehicle hire needs.

· To be dressed professionally

· Ability to multitask with outstanding problem-solving skills

Desirable

· Educated to GCSE Level or equivalent

· Possess a Clean Valid & Full Drivers Licence

· Ability to prioritise and achieve tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure

· Previous Vehicle Hire experience and knowledge of another vehicle hire booking system would be an advantage.

· Prior Customer Service Experience.

· Must be a team player and have excellent team building, management, and relationship skills,

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred), customer service: 1 year (required)
