Full Job Description

As part of ForLiving, our Private Rented Sector (PRS) team, you'll be responsible for development opportunities, assisting with development projects delivery from inception to completion. You'll be proactive in managing and coordinating project activities, working closely with internal and external stakeholders, including collaboration with Homes England, GMCA, and Local Authorities in relation to grant funding.

  • What you'll be doing:
  • Identifying and assessing suitable properties, sites, and development opportunities.

  • Negotiating with landowners, developers, and building contractors to agree purchases, package deals, and S106 opportunities.

  • Liaising with consultants throughout project delivery, ensuring projects run smoothly, and are delivered in line with time and budget targets.

  • Preparing and presenting reports to the Strategic Investment Group and Homes Committee.

  • Ensuring that Homes England grant funded projects meet key milestones, and updating the IMS system.

  • Assisting with the preparation of funding bids to Homes England, GMCA, Local Authorities, and other funding bodies.

  • Using Proval & Sequel and financial tools to assist with the financial appraisal of projects.

    Relevant professional qualifications at degree level, or similar.

  • Project and budget management skills.

  • Experience of operating Homes England IMS, making Grant Claims, and GMCA Brownfield Bids.

  • Experience of PROVAL and Covalent., Disability Confident
