Head of Park Activities

Are you prepared to lead and inspire a dynamic team at one of the region's most cherished attractions? Puxton Park is on the lookout for a Park Activities Coordinator to join our ranks. As the coordinator, you will oversee park activities, ensuring exceptional customer experiences while maintaining high safety and service standards., · Act as Duty Manager as required.

· Lead and supervise a lively and hospitable park team.

· Provide training and developmental opportunities for team members.

· Coordinate health and safety inspections to ensure compliance.

· Manage activity and equipment maintenance and repairs.

· Organise day-to-day park operations, including assigning team members to suitable areas.

· Ensure outstanding customer experiences for all visitors.

· Address guest requests or issues promptly and effectively.

· Proactively resolve guest problems or complaints.

· Efficiently schedule park team members to meet operational requirements.

· Order consumables as necessary.

· Conduct quality audits to uphold standards.

· Implement Park safety protocols and procedures.

· Collaborate with other departments to ensure excellent quality and service.

· Undertake training as required.

· Assistant the Events team in operationally delivering the events schedule.

· Friendly, ambitious, and customer focused.

· Maintain a positive and composed demeanour, particularly in high-pressure situations.

· Effective verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail.

· Previous experience in similar customer-facing role.

· Proficiency in MS Office suite and computer literacy.

· Approachable manner, fostering positive relationships with guests and team members.

· Continuously strive to improve business operations.

· Adaptability to new tasks and responsibilities.

· Strong administrative and communication skills.

· Proficient problem-solving skills.

Desirable Experience:

· Team leading or supervisory experience.

· Background in outdoor recreation.

· Training and coaching teams.

· Risk assessment and management.
