Full Job Description

We are looking for an apprentice to join us as a Level 3 Helpdesk Engineer in a role providing great opportunity to begin a career in the IT sector. Duties will include the preparing new devices (e.g. laptops) for clients, and providing the initial point of contact for client calls to our IT helpdesk.,

  • Providing the initial point of contact for client calls to our IT helpdesk

  • Triage of client incidents to decide appropriate escalation methods

  • Basic windows or mac troubleshooting

  • Providing changes to Microsoft 365 such as client name / job title changes

  • Occasional site visits including PC / monitor moves in client offices (expenses paid).

    Communication skills, IT skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Problem solving skills, Team working, Non judgemental, Apple MacOS experience, Knowledge of Microsoft 365, GCSE or equivalent any subject -- x3 (Grade 4+ (A-C)) Essential

    QA's Azure Cloud Support Specialist Level 3 apprenticeship programme enables the apprentice to:
  • Learn on-premise and cloud-enabled technologies and services

  • Learn technical content that aligns to and is relevant to employers and the market

  • Gain an Azure Fundamentals Qualification and a Microsoft 365 fundamentals qualification

  • Get an introduction to Windows, Linux and PowerShell


  • Tools and technologies learned: Learners will learn to use Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows 10, AWS, Linux, PowerShell., AIS Technology provides IT Managed services to customers between 5 - 100 employees in the UK, specialising in clients utilising the Microsoft 365 suite for email and collaboration.
