We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable HSEQ Advisor - Safety Coach to join our dynamic team and promote safety awareness among our workforce located across Newcastle and Gateshead.

As a HSEQ Advisor - Safety Coach, you will play a crucial role in achieving this mission and positively impacting lives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct safety workshops and training sessions.


  • Utilize multimedia resources, demonstrations, and interactive activities to effectively deliver safety lessons.


  • Evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs and continuously seek ways to improve and update content.


  • To challenge and intervene when poor safety behaviours or unsafe conditions are observed.


  • Address safety concerns and queries from workforce, offering practical solutions and strategies.


  • Keep abreast of the latest safety trends, research, and best practices to enhance the quality of safety programs.


  • Travel to various locations within the region to deliver safety workshops and outreach efforts.


  • Maintain accurate records of workshops, participants, and feedback for reporting and assessment purposes.


  • Carry out day to day HSEQ Advisor activities including site inspections, audits, reports and investigations.

    NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety (or higher)


  • Proven experience in safety coaching, safety education, or related fields.


  • Strong understanding of safety principles, risk assessment, and safety regulations.


  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage and connect with diverse audiences.


  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.


  • Proficiency in using multimedia tools and technology to enhance safety presentations.


  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the region.
