Full Job Description

  • Execute the HR functional game plan for the Hub.

  • Support the India Global Capability Hub's day to day HR activities.


  • Key responsibilities:

    1

    Own the onboarding process: (5%)

  • Schedule pre-joining connect call with upcoming joiners and address any queries.

  • Run induction program for new joiners & take care of joining formalities such as team introduction, IT assets co-ordination, team lunch, issue ID and access cards and salary account opening.

  • Enroll new joiners to insurance - GMC, WCP, GPA and GTLI.

  • Conduct a first month catchup with new joiner to understand the onboarding experience.2

  • Own the Probation process: (5%)
  • Initiate the probation objectives meeting between the Manager and employee within 2 weeks of joining.

  • Guide managers on developing SMART probation objectives for the new employee.

  • Attend the mid and final probation review meetings to address any concerns and advice managers on appropriate decisions.3

  • Own the payroll process: (25%)
  • Preparation on the monthly payroll input file.

  • Conduct the payroll check in SuccessFactors and add all new joiners & leavers data, promotions, salary revisions, bonus, Overtime, Timesheets, and deductions.

  • Coordinate with payroll vendor to ensure all inputs are accurately considered and validate the draft output file.

  • Coordinate with Sodexo for the monthly meal allowance data uploads and ensure all additions / deletions are upto date.

  • Process the final settlements for exiting employees.4

  • Own the HR Compliance activities: (25%)
  • Have weekly catchup with the external HR audit team to make sure audit tasks are completed on time.

  • Ensure all Monthly / Annual compliance data is shared with the audit team.

  • Ensure that the Quarterly/Half yearly/ Annual returns are completed for both locations.

  • Ensure any one-time activities are completed on time.

  • Co-ordinate with external legal advisor and have POSH session for India employees and address if there are any concerns.

  • Review and update the POSH Committee list as required.

  • File quarterly & yearly returns as per POSH policy.5

  • Own the Employee Insurance process: (20%)
  • Share addition & deletion monthly data to the insurer (GMC, WCP, GPA & GTLI).

  • Co-ordinate with insurer for the yearly renewal and provide necessary support.

  • Have monthly review calls with Loophealth & analyze the report.

  • Organize onboarding / refresher sessions to the team.

  • Address and assist employee's queries with regards claims & reimbursement.6

  • Own the Employee Engagement activities calendar: (10%)
  • Execute regional cultural and awareness activities (Women's Day, Pride month, Diwali, Christmas, etc.).

  • Executive the annual CSR activity for Pentland India.

  • Execute the Annual off-site, Pentland Sports Day and Leadership visit activities.7

  • Special Projects: (10%)
  • Work with the HR Manager and relevant stakeholders (globally) on projects that are focused on developing the Global Capability Hub.Key Performance Metrics:

  • Ability to deliver bug free data solutions.

  • Liaise with business stakeholders for user acceptance testing

  • Development & Operations

  • Codes, tests, and documents new or modified data systems to create.


  • robust and scalable applications for data analytics.

  • Creates data flow diagrams for business systems in scope.

  • Performance of the data pipelines

  • Defects reported by the business teams

  • Line manager and Peer feedback

  • Adherence to defined data standards and guidelines


  • Communication

  • Keeps stakeholder / agile squad informed on correct status of work.

  • Communicates any key risks or issues clearly and in a timely manner

    Master's degree in Human Resource Management

  • 2
    Minimum of 4 years' experience in handling payroll, compliance, Employee Insurance process for a headcount of 200 employees.

    Experience in SuccessFactors (Recruiting & Onboarding, and Employee Central) and other payroll software.

    Experience working on Excel.

    Excellent Communication skills, ability to engage with people, ability to advice and influence stakeholders on decisions, pro-active in coming up with ideas to improve ways of working and ownership mentality.
