Learning and Development Business Partner

As a Learning and Development Business Partner you will collaborate closely with leaders and stakeholders to identify training needs, you'll design and deliver effective learning activities which foster a culture of continuous improvement. You will provide advice and support to managers in all aspects of the employee life cycle including; recruitment and selection, on boarding, induction, performance management, and employee relations, talent management and succession planning and engagement and well being., Work with the HR and ESG Director to ensure that all L&D activities are aligned to the people strategy

• Overseeing and managing the recruitment and onboarding process.


• Support with Management interviews.


• Create new store opening packages.


• Ensuring all colleagues receive an induction that's relevant to role which is clear and informative.


• Providing guidance and support to team members in their professional development.


• Create and run relevant workshops to develop capability.


• Work with stakeholders to manage and run our development programmes.


• Develop apprenticeship opportunities.


• Work closely with department managers to identify and support training needs within the team.


• Succession planning across the business to support growth.


• Understand our LTO and challenge trends.


This role will require travel now and again to deliver training in the retail regions.

• To own the training calendar for SSC, and Retail.


• Staying up-to-date with latest L&D news.
  
  With experience in a similar role, you'll bring your skills, knowledge and enthusiasm to the role, supporting the business through rapid store opening expansion.

• Showcase your excellent communication & delivery skills with the ability to influence and inspire others.


• Have variety by using a range of development methods, including instructor-led training, e-learning, virtual classrooms, learning management systems and career development platforms, as well as on-the-job learning experiences.


• Create a great on-boarding experience in the design and delivery of induction programmes.
