Full Job Description

We are looking for a Localisation Manager to join our global localisation team.
Our localisation team is passionate about the Wise mission and wants to make sure that more countries and customers hear about it.
Our mission as a team is to enable international growth via high-quality localisation in all languages, whilst ensuring that every part of the customer experience feels consistently local and relevant.
This is an exciting role in which you will be able to make an impact and improve the customer experience in the APAC region, working with key stakeholders and a growing team of localisation specialists in order to refine the strategy for their existing languages and markets as well as launch new languages to support Wise in their market expansion.
What about the role?
The role can be based in our London office. You will work closely with our global team of Localisation Managers, Localisation Coordinators and Localisation Specialists.

You need to have several years of experience in a localisation management position, having managed a team of linguists, ideally in the fintech or ecommerce industry, with experience in localising for the APAC region specifically.
Your mission Lead a team of Localisation Specialists in charge of localising the Wise Product/Marketing/Support contents Ensure appropriate levels of utilisation and refine our outsourcing strategy to achieve the best outcome in terms of time, quality and costs. Set and monitor Localisation quality standards in the team Collaborate with the rest of the Localisation team to promote synergies between markets and refine our tools, workflows and processes Promote a culture of continuous improvement in your team, consistently questioning the status quo and innovating where needed Liaise and partner with key stakeholders in marketing, product or support teams to improve the customer experience for your region Flex the Localisation methodology in your team to drive efficiencies where appropriate Help your team with their development and growth, leading by example with your own demonstrated growth mindset Qualifications
A bit about you You have over 3 years of experience as a localisation manager or project manager. You have experience in people management and leading others, managing their performance and professional development. You have experience in launching new languages and markets within a global organisation You have a strong grasp of localisation and internationalisation issues You have experience setting and delivering OKRs for a team or project. You have strong cross-functional and stakeholder management skills You are familiar with CAT, TMS and MT tools as well as best practices in terms of quality management processes and workflows You have strong attention to detail and are committed to providing high-quality localisation You have an analytical mind, and can express it constructively in order to reach what's best for customers You manage your time efficiently and are used to working in a fast-paced environment with concurring deadlines whilst maintaining
high standards of quality Your cultural sensitivity and awareness allow you to accurately convey cultural nuances in your work You have at least a Bachelor's degree or equivalent Some extra skills that would be awesome Knowledge of one or several Asian languages would be beneficial Experience in a Finance or Fintech company would be an advantage Additional Information
