Full Job Description

The role involves the movement of goods, primarily by forklift truck, ensuring they are received on site and off-loaded, stored, and routed safely and efficiently in a timely manner, to the correct delivery location.

What you'll do:

  • Ensuring goods are received & checked off against the delivery paperwork and routed correctly.

  • Moving the material within the Factories (Production linefeed).

  • Accurately locating the material in the appropriate storage or on-line locations.

  • Safely operating the Forklift, High Bay Side Entry Lift Trucks, Tow Tugs, Lift Stackers & Powered Pallet Trucks.

  • Carrying out line counts to identify potential shortages, balancing line stocks across locations & reporting shortfalls to the Material Control department.

  • Ordering or issuing material from the stores.

  • Organising the despatch of materials & bins, for both the Production & Project.

  • Working within Safety Guidelines (including the movement of Dangerous Goods)

  • Adhering to all health and safety guidelines.

  • Handling all parts & equipment with care & attention.

  • Using & maintaining all supplied Personal Protective Equipment in good condition.

  • Processing all relevant documents in a safe and orderly manner.
