Full Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children in our nursery. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children and contribute to their early development.
Duties:
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum
- Supervise and engage children in play and learning activities
- Monitor children's progress and provide feedback to parents
- Collaborate with other nursery staff to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the nursery
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times
A genuine passion for working with children
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in a nursery or childcare setting
- Early childhood education qualification is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
- Ability to effectively manage and lead a group of children
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Skills:
- Drive to provide exceptional care and education to children
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Strong leadership skills to guide and support children's learning
- Experience working in a nursery or childcare setting with young children,
- GCSE or equivalent (required), Nursery: 2 years (required)
- Nursery experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Childcare: 3 years (required)
- Management: 1 year (preferred)
- Driving Licence (preferred)
