Full Job Description

We are a small cohesive, dynamic team of about 15 doctors, nurses, technicians, and administrative staff.
We have developed and expanded rapidly and are continuing to grow. This all adds administrative complexity - and interest.
We wish to appoint an energetic, flexible, committed, kind individual who has a high level of attention to detail to the post of Office Manager. The job involves frequent interactions with patients with difficult-to-treat depression and their carers and therefore requires patience and well-developed communication skills., The post holder will work closely with all members of the team, especially the Consultant Psychiatrist and the Service Manager and will lead the collaboration and consultation that is necessary for any development of our administrative processes.
Manage the people, processes, and performance of the Interventional Psychiatry Service administration team. This includes managing the planning and prioritization of the work associated with their team and organising all activities to achieve a cost effective, productive, high-quality service.

These services are based on using ketamine, neuromodulation treatments such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT), and group psychotherapy. Our services are all run under the auspices of Oxford Health NHS Trust, but some treatments are offered privately as well as on the NHS.
+ All new starters have a 6 month probationary period. This, together with the induction process, aims to create a positive supportive working environment allowing new employees to learn key elements of their role over a reasonable timescale
+ Candidates not currently employed by the Trust who attend an interview for non-qualified Band 1-5 posts are required to undertake numeracy and literacy assessments.
+ Appointment to this post is subject to the trust receiving satisfactory references covering 3 years of employment or study. Please ask your referees to respond promptly to reference requests.
+ Employees are expected to undertake mandatory and statutory training related to their role.
