Oversight Minister

These two lively parishes in St Austell Deanery are looking for an energetic, pastoral, and mission-focused priest to help them take the next steps towards fruitfulness and sustainability as they become a benefice of two parishes and four churches.

We are looking for a priest who will become our oversight minister:

• To bring leadership, vision, care and energy to the parishes;


• To help us embrace the opportunities becoming a benefice affords;


• To honour the identity of our church communities and the good things that are already happening, helping us to press ahead in witness;


• To encourage and enable the gifts of the whole body, raising up new leaders.


The delights of Cornish coast and country await in a collaborative deanery with a supportive Chapter, and in a diocese that is forward-thinking and takes seriously clergy wellbeing. We offer a modern well-equipped parsonage close to the town of St Austell with good access to the rest of Cornwall and beyond!
