Full Job Description

The PDI team is now a part of the CI and Quality Team at TGS. As a PDI Technician, you will be responsible for driving TGS quality standards through effective and time-bound vehicle QC. Whilst, also ensuring our OEM/Fleet customers achieve the very best supply of quality van conversions and truck builds in line with our 50-year heritage.,

  • Ensure that every vehicle released to our customers has gone through a rigorous high-intensity PDI/Quality Check, so we can assure our customers that they will always receive a high-quality build with zero defects.

  • Uphold a positive drive to Quality, Efficiency, H&S and CI as everyone is responsible.

  • Participate in daily SQDC meetings and where require, collate data and analysis for the PDI team leader.

  • Effective and time-bound raising of NCRs against team leaders for poor quality builds etc.

  • Ensure vans and trucks manufacturing meet the correct VCA and CoP standards - in the case of failure support the PDI team leader on containment/quarantine, reporting and corrective measures.

  • Support with introducing effective methods of inspection for both in-process build checks and final PDI checks, eliminating risk and improving throughput.

    We are looking to recruit a PDI Technician to join us on a permanent basis. The role is onsite in Fishponds, Bristol working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 7.30am - 4pm. Overtime maybe required. The salary will range between £11.50 - £12 per hour depending on experience.
