Rehabilitation Workers

An exciting opportunity exists for a qualified Rehabilitation Worker (visual impairment) to join a very supportive team of specialist workers who assess and provide services for people with a sensory impairment. You will possess the Diploma in Rehabilitation Studies (visual impairment) or equivalent. We have two vacancies, one at 37 hours and another at 25 hours.

We are a multi-disciplinary team based in Worcester with a countywide remit and are looking for a Rehabilitation Worker with good communication skills. Experience of working with people with additional disabilities would be helpful but enthusiasm and commitment are vital. This post is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of criminal records via the Disclosure and Barring Service before the appointment is confirmed.

This will include details of cautions, reprimands, or final warnings, as well as convictions. The County Council has a commitment to safeguarding service users in our care.
