Full Job Description

OCU are looking for an experienced Reinstatement Supervisor to work on Power projects out of our Iver office. You will be required to supervise the end to end reinstatement process and reinstatement teams ensuring reinstatement activities are delivered, planned and completed to the highest standards of safety, compliance, customer excellence and commercial control.,

  • Auditing of teams ensuring monthly targets are met - 8 per month (safety & quality)

  • Undertake required HA defect, and joint site inspections

  • Supervise the completion of all R1's

  • Ensuring all required HAVs forms are completed and uploaded.

  • Schedule all jobs to teams

  • Ensure the return of all waste management/material tickets

  • Ensure that all plant checks are completed by Ops and any issues are rectified

  • Submit requests for any required purchase orders

  • Assist with the setup of any required Advance Warning Signs

  • Undertake advance warning letter drops as required

  • Mentoring of teams to ensure best practice

  • Plan and schedule the works in line with the programme to ensure no overruns.

  • Liaise with Street works team to enable/monitor noticing/end dates.

  • Liaise with Civils team to ensure reinstatement occurs as soon as possible.

  • Assist with monitoring of all lorries, grabs and hotboxes to ensure they are compliant with 6 weekly checks.

  • Briefing of teams on the works prior to starting work.

  • Delivering toolbox talks/SHE alerts

    NRSWA Supervisors Qualification

  • Utility SHEA Gas Passport

  • Previous supervisory experience in Utility Contracting or Local Authority

  • Full UK Driving Licence

  • IOSH

  • SSSTS
