Full Job Description

We are looking for an organised, passionate and enthusiastic School Liaison Coordinator to join our School Liaison team. You will be able to motivate and inspire the team through strong leadership and planning skills.

You will work within the Student Recruitment & Customer Experience department, who engage with education settings across North and West Yorkshire to promote the Luminate offer. The key focus of the role is to lead a team that will engage and inspire young people of all age groups and provide information, advice and guidance on their post-16 options through student recruitment events. The team's main objective is to meet student recruitment targets.

What You Will Do

  • Build relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Work with prospective students and key stakeholders at primary and secondary schools to promote the college offer.

  • Coordinate and deliver effective team meetings and team training.

  • Be responsible for overseeing the School Liaison Project Executives to ensure that professional and innovating events run throughout the academic year to increase engagement and raise aspirations of students.

  • The role includes travel across the North and West Yorkshire region, evening working and occasional Saturdays (a couple of times per year). You will receive time off in lieu for working extra hours. Access to a car is essential due to travelling commitments.

    Qualification in one or more of the following:

  • Teaching qual, leadership and management, project management.
  • Experience of line management and strong leadership skills.

  • Good general education and willingness to work towards L3 IAG.

  • Experience of working with students, particularly ages 13-17.

  • Excellent organisation, communication and administrative skills.

  • Experience of working with multiple stakeholders, such as schools, parents and external support agencies.

  • Experience of producing clear and in depth reports and analysing data effectively to drive discussion and agree appropriate action.

  • Good standard of computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications and google applications.
