Are you a skilled Dietitian looking for a new challenge?

We are seeking a dedicated, innovative and highly organised Dietitian to join our growing and experienced team at Leicestershire Adult Eating Disorders Service. This post holder will have had experience of working in this specialised area, although further training will be available.

Why apply?

You will be part of a highly regarded and friendly Primary Care dietetic team which is currently going through a period of expansion due to additional investment.

The Mental Health team is currently supported by 2 Dietetic Assistant Practitioners and a Dietetic Team Leader.

You will also be working within a highly skilled and experienced eating disorders team, who will provide training and support.

You will be able to play a key role in the development and the delivering of the new and innovative virtual Waterlily Programme for outpatients, alongside OTs, assistant psychologist and support workers.

Weekly CPD!, The post holder will provide and co-ordinate specialised dietetic input for our new venture The Waterlily Inpatient Prevention Programme, a virtual day programme that offers practical and psychological treatment with the aim of preventing hospital admission for patients with anorexia nervosa.

The intervention is aimed at helping patients to restore their weight and improve their chances of recovery without admission to hospital.

The post holder will play a crucial role in providing specialised dietary assessment, treatment and support and monitoring to individuals suffering from eating disorders. Working within a multi-disciplinary team, the post holder will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to meet the unique nutritional needs of each patient, alongside enabling the patients to challenge their disordered eating and strict dietary rules. The role involves education of both staff, patients and carers, ongoing monitoring to promote healthy eating habits and support long-term recovery from eating disorders.

In addition to this, the post holder will work alongside the inpatient dietitian and support the outpatient team, working with a wider range of eating disorders
