Full Job Description

Talent Village is looking for an experienced Talent Director to join our London team.

The Talent Director will have a key role in the operations of the business and will need to demonstrate a high level of responsibility and organisation.

In addition to having excellent casting skills across multiple verticals and markets, the Talent Director also needs to be confident in writing casting strategies and collaborating to come up with creative campaign ideas. Production experience is also beneficial because we co-create all content with the talent.,

  • Develop talent agency partnerships & onboard talent/representatives to our Smart Cast tech solution

  • Curate personalised casting briefs to existing partner talent agencies which relay the strategic approach and any further mandatories, e.g. aesthetic, statistical and brand requirements

  • Use tech platform & strategic thinking to identify & cast the most relevant talent for our clients

  • Manage the casting, contracting and delivery of content by talent, ensuring high quality relationships and deliverables

  • Develop strong, trusted relationships with talent, talent representatives (managers & agents) as well as internal teams at Talent Village

  • Collaborate with the Client Services team to ensure that all casting meets the brief and the tech team to proactively improve the platform so it facilitates the talents' & agents' needs

  • Ensure all agents and talents have the best possible experience when working with Talent Village, while ensuring all client requirements are met

  • Have financial accountability for all castings, with strong negotiation skills

  • Collaborate with the clientsServices team when planning for shoots - supporting with sourcing photographers, hair stylists / MUAs, venues. Then attend shoots to represent the company, support the talent and ensure that the shoot is executed to the highest standard

  • Build & support junior talent team by providing guidance and giving advice

    The Talent Director will have experience in the creative sector, ideally with a background in casting, talent management and social media. The ideal candidate will be excited by the social talent industry, understanding how it has evolved and keeping abreast of industry trends. This role also requires a candidate with excellent negotiation skills and confidence when working in a fast paced environment, under strict client deadlines., Degree level education

  • A minimum of 5 years related experience in the talent industry

  • Extensive network of talent & creators, talent agencies & representatives

  • A passion and knowledge of the social media industry

  • Excellent presentation skills (both written and verbal)

  • Strong leader, negotiator & tech-savvy

  • The ability to work in autonomy, pro-actively seek assignments, prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Highly organised and able to work under pressure

  • A good eye for great content that is also commercially suitable

  • Good comprehension of the digital advertising landscape

  • An entrepreneurial and positive spirit, team player, good communicator
