Full Job Description

Job Summary: Although this position will be mainly based within the Theatre Scheduling Service there is an expectation that the post holder will provide support as and when needed across TEIR.

JOB PURPOSE Under the direct supervision of the Theatre Operational Manager, this post is responsible for providing a full, range of support to the clerical team in accordance with relevant policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines At times of short staffing levels, the postholder will be required to work within any of the departments, at the same level, within TEIR, Data Entry Duties
1. Assist in ensuring patients are Pre-admitted on HIVE.
2. Assist in ensuring the TEIR Scheduling Patient Tracker is up to date and that patients are listed in the correct Theatre on the correct date.
3. Ensure all patients have had a pre-op and fit for surgery.
4. Ensure HDU needs are recorded on the patient tracker following pre-op outcomes.

Clerical Duties
1. Arrange transport for patients to attend their
2. To provide telephone service and help to address patient queries.
3. To provide telephone service and help to address TEIR queries with CSUs.
