Warehouse Operative (Part-Time)

What will the apprentice be doing?

This is an exciting opportunity to begin a career in eCommerce warehousing & fulfilment within a well established and growing business.

This role is ideal for someone who has just left school or is in college looking for a part time job that fits around their full-time studies. This is an opportunity to become a part of a friendly and supportive team where we will teach you everything you need to know to thrive in this role.

The Warehouse Operative position includes:

• Picking & Packing: Working with a team to ensure a fast fulfilment of online orders


• Operating and handling equipment safely & proficiently


• This will include pallet trucks and may include forklift trucks (training provided)


• Taking part in weekly stock checks


• Ensuring that all health & safety procedures are strictly adhered to, whilst maintaining a safe & clean working environment


• Assisting with goods in, quality checks and sorting products


• Moving stock and replenishing the picking shelves


• Assisting with goods out on collection of the orders by our couriers
  
  Has intermediate Microsoft Office Skills, including Outlook, Excel


• Excellent communication and organisational skills


• Has a 'can do' attitude and prepared to go the extra mile


• Good physical strength and ability to perform physical tasks all day, ability to lift boxes of up to 25kg and carry them for short distances.
