Full Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Youth Engagement Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and implementing programs that engage young people in positive activities, build their skills, and foster a sense of community.,

  • Identify, engage, and recruit new learners to Itec Jobs Growth Wales + programme.

  • Using a variety of sales, business development and marketing techniques to attract new learners.

  • Establish new business and maximising on existing business partnerships for learner opportunities.

  • Play an active part in the selling and endorsement of all Itec training products and services to attract new learners.

  • New learner generation, including sales calls, external networking events, digital activities and working within the community to engage with potential learners.

  • Building effective relationships with local schools and other relevant community-based venues to attract new learners.

  • Arranging and attending promotional events to attract new learners and to raise the profile of the organisation as required.

  • Build strategic relationships with Centre Leads and Learner Coaches to ensure a seamless transition of new learners onto programme.

  • What skills and experience are we looking for in potential applicants?
    Essential
  • Experience of working with young people

  • Strong relevant local networks

  • Full driving licence with the use of own vehicle

  • Desirable
  • Experience within Post 16 Education or Youth based organisations

  • This role is subject to a DBS check. The cost of the DBS check will be met by the company.
